Visit Cesenatico

Cesenatico, a million ideas on what to do and see while on holiday between the coast and inland

Cesenatico is a coastal town that brings together the main seaside features of relaxation, sun, cheer, sport, shopping and lively nightlife.
Beyond its purely seaside appearance, Cesenatico also offers many things to visit, and here are some ideas:l
Valverde di Cesenatico
Our family hotel is located in the hamlet of Valverde di Cesenatico, an extremely peaceful area that is enriched by nearby Levante Park, where you can take lovely strolls or cycle rides, taking advantage of the many picnic areas. Sea, beach and nature, your holiday is truly all-inclusive here in Cesenatico!
Pantani Space
For many, Cesenatico is, first and foremost, the “home” of Marco Pantani, the late, great Pirate – as he was known -, hero of a thousand ascents and winner of the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia. It is only right to pay tribute to his great memory by visiting the Pantani Space, at Cesenatico Museum.
Boat trips
Many boats leave from Cesenatico for day trips, with beautiful views of the coast or mackerel fishing expeditions in the open seas. Equipment is supplied on board.
Leonardesque Port
A copy of the Leonardo codex is held at the Municipal Library, which depicts a drawing of Cesenatico Port from when Leonardo was summoned by Cesare Borgia to design the safety works of the area. The port is an outdoor monument, made all the more picturesque by the old boats belonging to the Maritime Museum.
Le Conserve and the Market
Enter into the authentic heart of Cesenatico by visiting le Conserve and the distinctive flower and vegetable market that takes place in the opposite piazza every morning. Le Conserve are ancient ice “boxes” used to store fish, which date back to the 16th century AD, when Cesenatico was already an important port of call for fishing vessels on the Adriatic.
